Curio Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Curio is not directed to minors. If you use Curio for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Do not use Curio where doing so is prohibited by law.

2. Accounts

Curio may create a guest account during onboarding. You may later link supported sign-in methods. Keep credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account until you notify us of unauthorised use. One person must not manipulate guest accounts, deletion or reinstallations to obtain duplicate rewards or bypass limits.

3. The service and AI output

Curio uses automated systems and third-party sources to suggest places and create guides, chat answers, quizzes and audio. Output may be wrong, incomplete, biased, unsafe, unavailable or outdated. It is informational and recreational, not professional, medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency advice. Verify opening hours, access, prices, restrictions, routes, conditions and material facts with authoritative sources before acting.

Do not rely on Curio where an error could cause death, injury, property damage or another high-impact consequence. You remain responsible for your travel, conduct, decisions and compliance with local rules.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use Curio illegally, fraudulently, to harm or harass, or to violate another person's rights.
• Do not upload content you lack rights to use, malware, secrets, highly sensitive data, sexual content involving minors, or material that is unlawful, hateful, exploitative or dangerous.
• Do not probe security, evade access, usage, age or payment controls, interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, scrape at scale, reverse engineer where prohibited, or use output to build a competing dataset or model contrary to law or third-party rights.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent AI output as verified fact. Do not use Curio for weapons, unlawful surveillance, exploitation, high-impact automated decisions or other prohibited provider use cases.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Moty Studio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transform, transmit and otherwise process it only as needed to operate, secure, support and improve Curio in accordance with the Privacy Policy, including sending it to service providers. The licence ends when content is deleted, subject to backups, legal retention and content already lawfully processed.

You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for submitted text and images. You are responsible for your content and should not submit unnecessary personal or confidential information. Moty Studio does not train AI models on your content.

6. Curio content and intellectual property

Curio, its software, branding, design and original materials belong to Moty Studio or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. Public facts and third-party content remain owned or licensed by their respective sources; required attributions are available in the app.

7. Curio Pass purchases

• A Curio Pass is a non-renewing access pack. It starts immediately after confirmed activation and does not automatically renew. Available durations, features, stacking/extension behaviour and price are shown on the paywall before purchase; additional compatible packs may extend remaining time as described there.
• Apple or Google is the merchant/payment provider. Displayed price, currency and tax handling come from the store. Their store terms also apply.
• There is no future subscription to cancel. Refund requests must be made to Apple or Google and remain subject to their rules and mandatory consumer rights. Moty Studio does not automatically issue a refund when an account is deleted.
• Restore is available only where supported and may require the same app-store account and compatible Curio identity/platform. We do not promise cross-platform restoration.
• Chargebacks, refunded transactions, fraud, abuse or store reversals may remove access or suspend an account. Service outages do not extend a Pass unless the paywall or mandatory law says otherwise.

8. Third-party services and links

Curio relies on app stores, maps, source websites, authentication, AI and infrastructure providers. Their terms and privacy practices may apply. Links, place data, images and third-party content are provided for convenience; Moty Studio does not control or endorse every external resource and is not responsible for independent services. 9. Privacy

The Curio Privacy Policy explains our processing of personal data and is part of these Terms.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Curio or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or systems, comply with law, respond to fraud/chargebacks, or enforce these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to appeal. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination.

Deleting an account is permanent and removes remaining Curio Pass time without an automatic refund. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, lawful retention, disclaimers, liability and governing law—continue after termination.

11. Changes and availability

We may maintain, change, add, limit or discontinue features, models or providers. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. For a material adverse change to these Terms, we will provide in-app notice and request new acceptance where required. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only where permitted by law.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curio is provided “as is” and “as available”. Moty Studio disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moty Studio and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profits/data/opportunity, or harm arising from reliance on AI or third-party content. Nothing limits liability where limitation is prohibited, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Wyoming law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction, but this does not deprive you of mandatory protections or courts available under the law of your country, state or province. Before filing a claim, contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. No arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these Terms.

15. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganisation, financing or sale while respecting applicable law. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and purchase disclosures form the agreement about Curio.
